Why Mentorship
The real learning begins once you start teaching. Getting some more practice while getting feedback from an experienced yoga teacher will increase your confidence and effectiveness as a teacher. Mentorship will give you a guided place to bring all that you have learned from your 200 hour training and engrain it deeper into your overall teaching ability.

Small Group Syllabus
Strengthen your teaching ability in four days at two hours each. Classes are maxed out at four people so that everyone has opportunity to grow and practice their unique sequences.
Day One: Crafting Your Class and Your Voice
- Themes and intentions for yoga classes
- Building the bones of your sequence
- safe transitions
- Pacing and timing of your classes
- Scripting your class—cues and ad-libs
Day Two: Refining Your Sequence
- Sequence reviews
- Safe transitions Pt2 using your own sequence
- Teaching mixed levels with your sequence
- Modifications
- Demoing tips and safety
- Q/A and bonus industry tips
Day Three: Practice and observation—learning from one another
- 40 minutes of practice teaching each hour (2 a day)
- Those not teaching take the class
- 15 minutes of peer and mentor critique at the end of each class

- 40 minutes of practice teaching each hour (2 a day)
- Those not teaching take the class
- 15 minutes of peer and mentor critique at the end of each classes
Optional Karma Class after the program for additional practice in the studio. Karma class must be scheduled within 3 months of completed program.

Cost: $150 Includes all four dates plus opportunity for the additional Karma Class ($75 refundable until September 3rd)
